Sontext Completes Radio Station Studio Fitout with Fabric faced Acoustic panels
Sontext recently supplied Serenity Fabric Faced Acoustic Panels to the newly completed LightFM radio station. Serenity Acoustic Panels were chosen for the studio fitout because they provided these three key elements:
acoustic performance to optimise sound quality,
a huge variety of fabric facing options for design flexibility,
the availability of custom sizes.
The added benefit of installation with the Sontext aluminium fixing system meant the panels can be removed to allow access to services such as cabling and wiring for maintenance, etc.
The lightweight, fabric-faced Serenity Acoustic Panels required for this project were manufactured to complement the unique design of each studio. Sound quality is of course critical to commercial broadcast studios such as these. Because Sontext acoustic panels have all been tested by international accredited laboratories (test reports are available on request), the client could be confident that these high performance panels had the required sound absorption characteristics for the job.
